Getting crazier every day!

This is a crazy  week and its getting more so. I have to finish four projects in just a few short days and then I will begin the process of writing my final papers for my final semester in the MA program. I am very excited!

Everything...

The blog name I chose came from a song I really love. I'll you why, too! I wanted to share one of my ALL TIME favorite musicians and one of my favorite songs. Michael Buble is Canadian and in the tradition of Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett, he sings beautiful, warm and delightful ballads about love. 

The song, "Everything" is special to me because it speaks to me of my love relationship with my husband. Our lives have been CRAZY for the past few years! We spent the last 13 months apart while he worked and served in Afghanistan to help with the rebuilding efforts over there. I was here going to to school full-time and being a single parent to our two kids. It was a very difficult time for us and this song became a constant reminder to me of how important our relationship is and how much we really do love each other.

My favorite line in the song is, "And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times, it's you, it's you. You make me sing! You're every line, you're every word, You're my everything."

 He really does make me sing because is my EVERYTHING!

The beginning...

This blog has been started by me as a project demonstration for students in the IEP writing class. I wanted to give them something that they could work on and be proud of as well as have a place to share about their experiences in a new country. So, here we go!
